SCUF24 Tech Summit
The SCUF24 Tech Summit is geared towards interested ultrasound faculty who have experience in workflow and operational processes. The Tech Summit is very informative in guiding the work taken on by the Industry Round Table on behalf of the larger POCUS community. The SCUF24 Tech Summit will be lead by: Rachel Liu, Srikar Adhikari, Rob Ferre, Matt Flannigan, Jason Nomura, and Lori Stolz.
Tentative Schedule for Tuesday, September 10th, 2024
11:00AM – 1:00PM: Dashboarding
Get involved with discussions on leveraging middleware systems to retrieve analytics that we need as fellowship directors, section directors and system-wide directors. Our goal is to set the base information and sketches that we’d like all solutions to offer (in aesthetic, easy-to-interpret ways). Different programs have various priorities, and we’d like to hear the parameters that are important to you! From the vendor side, we’d love input on barriers to build, information needed from us, and any questions you may have. We’ll also describe work that has been done in this area by an ACEP IRT subgroup this past year.
1:00PM — 2:00PM: Lunch (SCUF Committee lunch meetings)
2:00PM — 3:30PM – Vendor Showcase and Networking with Vendors
See and demo the cool new things coming to machines this year, and get to know your vendor reps outside an exhibit hall scenario with some fun icebreaker games! As a fellow or junior faculty, did you ever wonder how people get involved with industry in advising, consulting or even getting jobs with companies? Talk to people of all levels in their relationships with industry, and things to watch for.
Location: Michigan League, which is located at 911 N University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
